Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I recently had a series of conversations with friends from different communities, and the stark differences in their children's pursuits left me pondering the state of our society. I want to share these reflections with you in the hope that they may inspire positive change.
When I inquired about the achievements and aspirations of friends from various backgrounds, their responses painted a diverse picture:
A friend from the Jat community proudly shared that his children were excelling in prestigious roles such as IAS, IPS, IFS, and college principal positions.
A Brahmin friend's children were thriving as a doctor, a collector, and a law graduate.
A Marwari friend's family was thriving in business, with one child helping to expand their enterprise, another being a Chartered Accountant, and the third managing their factory.
Our Sikh brother's children were serving the nation as an army captain and working as a GM in a transport company.
A Dalit friend's family had members in senior police positions, as tahsildar, and running a successful school.
However, when I asked a Muslim friend about his children's pursuits, the response was disheartening. Their daily routine seemed to lack ambition, with late mornings, pocket money for leisure, and evenings spent watching TV. The contrast in aspirations was apparent.
The purpose of sharing these is not to criticize or stereotype but to encourage introspection. Our society has undoubtedly made progress in various fields, but we must reflect on whether this progress is uniform and widespread. It is a collective responsibility to uplift our community as a whole.
We must strive to educate our children and empower them with a sense of purpose and high thinking. Progress should not be confined to individuals or families but should extend to society at large. It is crucial to recognize that societal progress is a measure of our success as a community.
Let us not forget that unity and education can bring about positive change. We must invest in knowledge, support one another, and engage in meaningful endeavors to uplift our society. Our efforts should extend beyond personal gain and contribute to the greater good.
Let us also remember that our society's history has been marked by individuals who advocated for reform, but we must continue their legacy by promoting education, unity, and progress. Together, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and the generations to come.
Please take a moment to reflect on these thoughts and consider how we can collectively work towards a better, more prosperous society. Your commitment to positive change is the first step in making a difference.
